The Environmental Citizenship Guide is a practical guide to encourage Alabama citizens to become a more environmentally friendly citizen. The guide is divided into three categories; Personal Actions, Good Neighbor, and Environmental Advocate. The Guide focuses on what citizens can do to protect and enhance Alabama's environment. Topic areas include environmental citizenship, biodiversity in Alabama, economic issues, conservation, heritage, statistical information, and sources for additional information. The Guide features these topics as well as photographs of Alabama's Natural Wonders as identified by the Alabama Environmental Council.
