drops and watts
Over
the past few years, Alabama and other states have been concerned
with citizens saving water and energy due to droughts and shortages.
To help educate Alabama citizens about the issues, Legacy, Inc.,
Partners in Environmental Education, has produced an environmental
education publication called "Drops and Watts." Two of
Alabama's non-renewable resources are water and energy. With these
resources being non-renewable, we need to learn to conserve them
for future generation. "Drops and Watts" is a practical
guide for Alabama citizens to learn to conserve water and energy.
The guide features tips on how to conserve these resources both
inside and outside the home. "Drops and Watts" was sponsored
by Legacy, Inc., Partners in Environmental Education; Alabama Rural
Electric Association; Alabama Department of Economic and Community
Affairs (ADECA), Office of Water Resources; and the ADECA, Science,
Technology and Energy Division.
