 alabama's water resources

Alabama citizens receive approximately 44 percent of their drinking water from ground water sources. The other 56 percent of Alabama’s drinking water comes from surface water supplies. Alabama has over 77,424 miles of freshwater rivers and streams. Alabama’s Water Resources poster uses a colorful map of the state to depict all of the water resources within Alabama. The poster also features photographs from various types of water uses within the state. The photographs are arranged around a map of the state of Alabama.
