"Learning through Legacy: Alabama's Environmental Education
Guides" are excellent tools for teaching environmental education.
With over 4,000 hands-on activities for grades K-12, this series
of curricula guides is a useful addition to any classroom. The series
features K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Each guide is divided into the
content areas of: natural resources, ecology, waste management,
pollution prevention, glossary, and resources. Each guide has been
correlated to the State of Alabama's Course of Study. Each guide

The
Water SourceBook
The
Water Sourcebook is a supplemental activity guide of over 60 hands-on
activities per guide to teach students about water resources and
water conservation. The book is divided into five topic areas; Introduction
to Water, Surface Water, Wetlands and Coastal Resources, Drinking
Water and Wastewater Treatment, and Ground Water. The book also
includes an extensive glossary of terms related to water resources,
teacher fact sheets about water-related issues, and a curriculum
correlation index. The Water Sourcebook was written and produced
with funds from EPA, TVA, ADEM, and Legacy. The Water Sourcebook
is available in book or CD-ROM. The series features K-2, 3-5, 6-8
and 9-12. Each guide is $10 a piece. The CD-ROM with all four guides

The Environmental Blackboard is a biannual newsletter strictly for
Alabama teachers. The Environmental Blackboard informs teachers
on the upcoming events and programs that they and their students
