Legacy’s Public Awareness Committee works to provide balanced, fact-based environmental education programs to the general public in a format that provides for a basic understanding of individual impact on the environment and the necessary actions required to become an environmentally responsible Alabama resident. Projects implemented under the supervision of this committee include all Public Recognition and Marketing Programs, Public and Consumer Education Programs, Smart Driving, the Citizenship Guide, the Environmental Centers and Organization Resource Guide, Responsible Gardening, and much more.
